Within this strategy, incentives and rewards are given to workers to inspire them to work longer and harder hours and raise the productivity in the company. Incentives are given concerning money, bonuses or some other form of reimbursement. The other type of the pay-for-achievement plan is calledPay-for-Performance Plans. Here the only thing rewarded to workers is recognition is dependent on their own performance. This strategy does not provide any kind of awards. The first version of thepay-for-achievement program was set in England. They made a decision to improve the productivity of these people by paying them for their accomplishments. The history of the plan is not too apparent, but there are evidences which support its own effect. For example, the history of the Industrial Revolution in 1830 to 1847, reveals a tremendous gain in the growth of the workers and a rise in the price of the merchandise. Additionally, the rise in the workforce throughout the Second World War is just another proof of the function of this plan. All of these cases prove that companies have profited from pay-for-achievement programs, especially those who were started during the Second World War. In other words, the strategy is working. Employees working for high tech companies have their tasks simplified and the companies also have lower prices. They help to increase the standard of work and also the efficacy of the business. There's not any doubt that there are scenarios which may be reduced or altered, but the level of productivity in many businesses has been improved to some extent with the help of the plan. And all these advantages can be credited to the strategy.
